Another Gun Thread...Sort Of

I frequent the "Dianawerk Collective" website which is a forum for Diana (RWS) air guns. There is a member who builds parts & modifies all sorts of air rifles and documents the builds with his posts almost everyday.
Check this project out. He machined (at home) lots of parts including the scope adjustment wheel, mounts, and all sorts of other stuff including internals. The machine work is killer IMO.
It's just one cool BB gun. :D

That's cool as hell!

That is some impressive workmanship.

And, that's a nice speaker stand it's sittin' on.

I have one of their model 48 5.5mm 3 ball sear actions in a walnut Tyrolean stock with a 4 power Macarri scope that deserves more of my attention.

Wow, very cool. All I have is a stock Magnum 350 in .22 cal. with the T05 trigger.

I've always thought the physics of guns (can't call that a firearm) are intriguing. Would that be use for target shooting, or some other application?

Regards,

D-Ray

That's why I pleasure shoot air guns, the physics of a spring air gun are fascinating. Web search for Feinwerkbau 300S review for example.

At my gun club, I signed my oldest son and daughter up for an indoor competitive airgun league back when they were in their early teens. The club had several Feinwerkbau precharged pneumatic rifles. They were incredibly accurate and could put the pellets through the same hole at 10 meters if you had the requisite skills. It's definitely easier to shoot accurately than a spring piston gun.

Feinwerkbau, Diana, and Walther had ingenious solutions for stabilizing spring gun reaction tho spring guns are now largely supplanted by pcp for competition shooting.
