Politics you all don't even want to discuss with me. Not a Republican, not a Democrat, not a Libertarian nor a Greenie. I vote the issues and elections by my convictions not party alliances. Theoretically I'm a marxist (w0hat do you expect from someone who went to college in the 70's at a university that had professors like Angela Davis :) ). Well there I did it put it out there for everyone to see :D. But I am also a realist and know that works in theory doesn't work in practice.

Some of you know me from AK and like me (I hope), so to protect the sense of welcome I feel there, I have choosen a different name for this forum.

I like ya already, you're showing your colors. Always liked Bernie Sanders, didn't let on like he was anything other than himself.

BTW, I went to college for a while in the 70's, didn't stay for very long. Didn't study under Angelia Davis...just her clones.

Now I'm a redneck peckerwood...and an aspiring ignert hillbilly....but my resume shows that I'm more than qualified for the position.

I'll put it out there too...just be advised that preconceived notions may not apply in my case.

Well I hadn't signed into political chat for a long time. I kinda felt like I had been shunned or something. My original post did not get a single response last May so??? figured I was an outsider, first response was Dec 9th.

Well folks, sorry I missed you all in Dec. Perhaps I'll come back more often, I spent a couple hours reading up on some of the discussions tonight and thought, wow those would have been some fun topics to take up. I'm glad to see that things do remain civil (at least what I have seen).

I guess we can all get along, so there is a round of drinks on the bar for everyone.
