The new committee headed by Curt Gowdy is nothing but a political farce and a sham, IMO. The only abuse of power here is squarely on Republican shoulders.

As our friends on the left have claimed in the past:

1. Its about the appearance of impropriety
2. If there's nothing going on, them there's nothing to fear in a thorough, rigorous investigation of the available facts.

It's quite possible that this could only strengthen her stature as a competent Statesperson and backfire as a ploy to discredit her.
