A Facebook friend posted a "like" of some Tea Party crap about standing up to tyranny, so it popped up on my walk. There were something like 1200 comments on that post, and it was some of the most vile, stupid and hateful stuff I have ever read. I know I shouldn't be so shocked, but I am.

No one in the world would be safe if these folks were running the country. It was really scary reading it. The rantings and ravings of lunatics.

I know what you mean, Erik. It scares the livin' shit out of me. If these nuts ever get control, we're in deep trouble.
