College Football
The coach was in a quandary. Jones, the best player on the team was in danger of flunking out.
So the coach goes to see the Dean. And tells the Dean, "Jones is the best player I got, but he's flunking out. He's really a smart guy, but he's so busy playing football he doesn't have time to study. You gotta do something, I can't win the playoffs without him!!!" Now the Dean, being a practical man, can appreciate the positive attributes a winning season can provide for the university...especially whenever it comes to donations from the Alumni Association. So he tells the coach, "I expect to see Jones and yourself in my office on Monday morning. I shall administer a brief test to Jones, should he pass I shall update his academic records. But should he fail, I will be left with no recourse other than expulsion." So Monday morning, the coach and Jones are in the Dean's office. The Dean turns to Jones and says, "Mr. Jones, I shall administer a brief test. If you pass you may continue your academic career. If you fail, you will be expelled. This test consists of one question, which is...what is the sum of two plus two?" Jones mouth falls open. He grips his chair, sweat appears on his brow. After what seems like hours he replies, "Four?" And the coach leaps to his feet and says, "Please!!! Give him another chance!!!" Chas |
Chas, that is a tough question!
I thought he was going to ask him....One plus one? |

Good joke! Most likely because it stems from reality.
I can understand why the coach wants to keep the player. But I hate it when they graduate jocks like that and the dumbass becomes my boss.:p Dave |

BTW There seems to be some improvement despite the over exposed Dallas Cowboy receiver. |
Speaking of over-exposed Dallas Cowboy receivers - and this is a really old one:
What is Lance Rentzel's favorite pass route? The fly pattern. Regards, D-Ray |
