good news for Rover

Speaking of benefits, last week I took my youngest in to get a savings account and a credit card.

The bank branch manager was on maternity leave. He got 3 months off!!!!!

To be honest, my first reaction was, WTF!

I have 3 kids and never missed a single day of work for any of their births.

Then I though about it and realized it was a good thing. Just too bad in my day it was very very different.

This is the direction I want my country to go in.

I am glad for him also. You do not get those days back....

No time off for a birth was the rule. If you tried to use vacation it was a big production and then you "owed" them for allowing it.

Time off without pay I have no problem with that. Use your vacation time how you want I say.
