Very sad he was very young.
McCrystal asking Obama for 30,000 troops and then stabbing him in the back after the President gave him what he asked for was simply inexcusable. It is good Hastings exposed such a violation of the UCMJ at the highest level. Of course when Generals who get paid $10,000 a month violate the rules nothing happens but early retirement with benefits.

More....this was the young cat at Rolling Stone/Buzzfeed who brought down Gen. McChrystal. Tragic loss. He is survived by his wife.
