Congress Acts With Lightning Speed To Stop Painful Sequestor Cuts!
That really only hurt frequent fliers....like themselves.
If I am Obama I am not signing this unless I get something back. http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/26/politi...tml?hpt=hp_bn3 |

What's that I hear? Splat! Congress's approval rating hitting 0.
At least 40 representatives voted no. Anyone want to guess what the ratio is, D vs. R? |
Funny that the powers that be couldn't shave a few percent without playing politics as usual. Let's make it as painful to the people as we can, then blame the Elephants for not letting us increase taxes. Then they can blame the Asses for doing exactly what they are doing. Not really seeing anything here but a bit of bukkake for Obama to wear.

Was the bill veto proof? If so, all the stink should stick to congress.;)

Although none of the talking heads have said it the public knows that Congress only acted for their own convenience and not for the general public, after all they cant be inconvenienced by flight delays going home for those long weekends Thursday evening.

Obama is in a hard spot. I have to say he has lost some credibility with me but he sort of has no choice.
For public safety he has to reduce the traffic controller furloughs. If only he had the guts to tie some concessions to this. I would send it back with some demands. The little guy is not going to get his sequester cuts back. When the Republicans start to worry about defense cuts they may do the same thing...propose ad hoc sequester cuts for their interests. |
