Obama's Not firing Up the Base?

For those of you who are still thinking Obama isn't beatable this November, consider this:

The President was running unopposed in the Kentucky Primary election - a closed primary. Yet, 42% of Democrats who voted cast their ballot as "uncommitted".

Hmmmm......

I do not think Democrats are even voting in the primaries since no one is running against Obama (I mean serious challengers not bozos) in the Democratic Party.....do not count all your Tea Party chickens yet Whell

Sure they are. The primaries are also about local seats that are open, as well as some congress / senate contests still under way.

So Romney is doing that much better running unopposed? :p

And his last ones were barely 70's.

I do not think the turn out is as great as the Republican primaries....you are right though. However, you fail to mention that Obama is getting 58% of the vote if 42% percent are voting against him.

I don't fail to mention the obvious. Its still an interesting conundrum that 42% were willing to cast a ballot against the incumbent candidate. One has to wonder if/how that might translate on election day in November.

Sure doesn't seem like good news for him. Wonder how other Presidents fared?

You forget what states we are discussing Whell...they are not going to go to Obama anyway.
