Obama Zombie Pictures...

The GOP was right to condemn the depictions of Barrack Obama as a zombie. Is it not odd, that the DNC and associated liberals cheered and heralded similar depictions of President George W. Bush? Personally, I believe that the zombie depiction is "nicht ganz gelungen" as would be said in Germany. There is another one making the rounds, that depicts Obama as a suicide bomber attacking U.S. forces in the Middle East... I will reserve judgement on Barrack's future employment opportunities and career choices, and just say that it is perhaps even more tasteless. ;)

I tire very quickly of the Right with all their contrived double-standard arguments. This one, KG, may take the cake.

Du hast selber nicht ganz gelungen, meine Meinung nach.

Natürlich ist es mir gelungen.... One shouldn't talk about "double standards" when viewing a film made by an organization allied to the Democrat Party glorifying the assassination of a President who bore a striking resemblance to George Bush. The Obama depiction is inappropriate, as were the depictions of George Bush. Or are you saying that those never existed? Burning an effigy of Barrack Obama, was proclaimed to be racist and a "hate crime" by many liberals (akin to burning crosses in someones front yard), while burning one of George Bush was seen to be perfectly acceptable, a cause for celebration, and an exercise of free speech. Are you saying that these incidents didn't occur? That the Secret Service didn't interrogate the owner of the flaming Barrack Obama effigy? Or are you simply saying that a Democrat President, especially Barrack Obama, is "off limits" to being hung or burned in effigy? Talk about a "double standard"... ;)

I guess what I'm saying is that all the events you cited were all covered by the media. Otherwise, you wouldn't know a thing about them. How outraged you chose to get about the different events is entirely up to you (i.e., what you sees depends on where you stand).

As for me, I've largely given up on being outraged about anything. It saps too much emotional energy and accomplishes nothing.
