Clarence Thomas has not spoken a word in over 5 years

I'm not sure what to make of this. Clarence Thomas hasn't opened his mouth in the SCOTUS since February, 2006. This is in a court that asks an average of 133 questions in an hour.

I'm having a hard time buying into the notion that this guy is a good jurist.

Sounds to me like he sees the SCOTUS for what it is.

He does not have to ask questions since all he ever does is whatever Scalia tells him to do.
