Hold on fellers, here we go!

I guess they will be voting on cap and trade this week while everyone is focused on health care. The estimates I've heard on energy cost increases don't sound good at all. There was a study done by a few republican senators to see how it would affect schools in Utah (an arbitrary place). The increased costs will be in the thousands for them (per school), and most likely hundreds for home owners. Between this and the costs associated with fixing a health care system that 87% of Americans are satisfied with, I think the camels back will finally break. I wish someone could really tell us where the money is going to come from for all this spending.:(

Dooood, this is the shit that scares me the most.....that most of America isn't keeping their eye on the ball and is easily led astray. Bait and switch? Timing? Nah, it's all just coincidence. Bullshit.

Cap and trade is a bad idea. We don't need an artificial trading system to reduce pollution; it just needs to be done.

I know I'm a pessimist lately, but it sounds like "just another tax" to me. Instead of 95% of Americans getting a tax cut, this will assure that 100% of Americans get a tax increase.

I'm surprised they didn't rush health care through too, what with Michael Jackson's death dominating the "news".:p
