This was not right..

Last weekend was the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan. For the past 5 plus years we have seen vehicles like this driving up and down Woodward. I have no problem with freedom of speech, but, when you are at a "Family Friendly" event, this is something that I do not want any child to see.
As a society we have ratings on many things from video games, to movies that we see in a theater. To me this is grossly offensive and scary to small children. In the past these people have been taken to court to prevent them from participating. The court ruled that this was freedom of speech. This isn't speech, this is just plain offensive. |
I agree.

Yes, it is both offensive and tasteless. Luckily, this dreck probably doesn't register with small children otherwise enjoying themselves. And those who are old enough to understand the message may be repelled by these unsavory tactics and align themselves against those sending the message.
It's a little ironic that those wingnuts who feel the need to assault people's sensitivities with such grotesque displays are the same type of folks bitching about their sensitivities being assaulted by the "Ground Zero Mosque." |

the mosque is not at ground zero (they have really sold this image haven't they) |

We had the same issue with protesters at abortion clinics 'round here, and the same results. In time they went away, but it was because of ordinary citizens confronting them, not the police.

While I was going through the pictures I realized that this picture is taken in front of a church and it's school. Shrine of the little flower, I think is the name.
It amazes me that these people drive this vehicle from another state, cause we have enough of the abortion protesters in Michigan. |
I find pro-life types to be the biggest hypocrits around, once the infant is born they lose all interest and it can bloody well starve for all they care.
