I missed this the first time. Good topic for a thread. Being Canadian, I'm ashamed to admit I'm not much of a hockey guy. Can't skate for shit. Comes from having spent my formative years in a time and place where MLB and NFL (and NBA to a lesser extent, which should give some clue as to my age) ruled, I guess.

Still, I know enough to appreciate a good hockey metaphor when I hear one.
