Sad news.

Former President Carter has been a great force for good.

Wish I had voted for him against Ronnie Ray Gun back in the day. Did vote for him the first time.
Got fooled or played by whole hostage mess. Was working a lot of hours as an Industrial Engineer with a lot of Republicans.

Little did I know....

Rest easy, Jimmy. If anyone in public service deserves a rest, it's you.

He has shown what true selfless public service is and should be.

Maybe the best former president in my lifetime. A saving grace example of Christanity lived at a time of terrible evangelical representation.

Take it easy Sir Carter. You are the reason I served in Habitat for Humanity. Those Atlanta years are great memories.

Only presidential candidate I ever voted for. More as a protest against Tricky Dick's cowardly resignation than anything else.
