Hundreds of dictionaries earmarked for donation from a Venice Rotary Club sit collecting dust, precluded from being given to Sarasota County students. Even dictionaries aren't safe from the Sarasota Schools book freeze.

Guns for the masses, books in the trash bin. Surprised these wingnuts are not holding book burning ceremonies, why stop at pulling the books out of libraries.

Knowing full well that even if they do loose the major battles will have brainwashed enough of the next generations with their propaganda indoctrination. That will influence the future enough to win the war to control the country.

You are so right. I did not see the privatized education which will then morph into Christian madrassas circumventing the constitution.

So basically a ideology based cultural war where one ideology is well defined, the other side is murky and fear based with terms like "Woke" (I still don't really understand this), religious freedom, CRT (another term I don't quite get). Of course no science which I believe helps develop critical thinking or at least knitting of the eyebrows to look like an intellectual. ;)
