'Four Hours at the Capitol' on HBO
 

I just finished watching this 1-½ hour documentary about the Capitol insurrection on HBO. The show is so well done and you'll surely learn more more about the attempted coup than you know now.

Highly recommended, try not to miss it.

Don't have HBO. I did see a rather lengthy video on youtube with some very interesting footage. Two older men at the rally beforehand, "Why no guns?", "That'll be the next time.".

The next time?

So, not only was this one planned but there's plans for a subsequent attack with firearms?

Inside the Capital; "These doors aren't giving up. We need more help up front.", "WE NEED MORE PATRIOTS UP FRONT! CAN WE GET MORE PATRIOTS UP FRONT, PLEASE?".

They brought a frigging battering ram.

How in the hell can anyone claim they meant no harm with a straight face? A normal tourist visit? I toured the Capital in 2016.I didn't see anything on the schedule about a "Vandalism, Assault and Death Threat Tour"? "The tour starts at 11 a.m., right after a frenzied bile spewing rally. Meet your tour guide at the gallows and be sure to bring a battering ram and a flagpole.".:rolleyes:

Who ordered and paid for the gallows? That investigation might have been very interesting, because I think they point to very dark plans, and I'd like to know whose dark plans.

I watched it and it pissed off and scared the hell out of me at the same time..

The 6th was a failed attempt. Quickly the extremists learned, have changed tact. Rather then being a National well advertised and covered events. Going local with thousands of takeovers of local/state office holders. So the next one is guarantied to succeed.
