How America and Americans are viewed by the outside world.
So many of us need to read this and not just the MAGA crowd.
Non-Americans Are Sharing Things Americans Aren't Ready To Hear I would share this over on AK but I'm sure it would go from 0 to locked before noon  |
:rolleyes:Number one is how we see ourselves, while the rest of the world see US as number two!;)

Reading all 25 of those, arrogant is the last thing we should be. If there are things you aren't ready to hear you really need to hear them.

US is number one, numero uno. Everyone wants a piece of the US. The US is the place where one sends one's family.
This reality is seriously affecting the price of shelter in many urban American centers. Check the Arabs, Chinese, Koreans, Russians, Africans and people from Central and South America. |
Sour grapes.
US is #1 when it comes to where people want to immigrate to: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/...nt-to-move-to/ https://news.gallup.com/poll/245255/...e-migrate.aspx And of course you can't be the #1 country to immigrate to without what? (having the most immigrants) https://citizenpath.com/countries-wi...st-immigrants/ |
There are so many good things going for this country. Yet just because there is a ever growing flow into the country does not convince me were are the best.
That would be like saying Trump campaign rallies were the best, should be emulated, because of the size of the crowds. The dream of the United States still sells. Yet we are not that country any more if we ever were. We do not plan ahead take care of our citizens like other comparable countries. If you have money and are healthy, yes this is a great place to be. If not then not so much.... |

What soft, tender, friendly little criticisms. After the build up, I expected much sharper stuff.
