Tornadoes: wide spread devastation
Many deaths and devastation were due to tornadoes, especially in Mayfield Kentucky.
Great sympathy and condolence to the families affected. www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4w2Rh7UeFM |
We spent Friday night Saturday morning with the TV's on and listening to the rain, watching the lighting and hearing thunder. The worst of the storms were south and west of my local.
The local coverage is pretty intensive and the devastation wide spread. Many will have lost everything and some of these towns will never fully recover. Tornadoes are an ever present danger we have reluctantly accepted and take heed whenever alerted. |

Back must be five years now one went thru a few miles from us and took out a small town and school. Remember well 1974 and the day of tornadoes this area had too.
