Civil Rights Activism in the 21st Century. 1AAs
First Amendment Audits.
These 'agitators' video record public servants at post offices, public admin buildings, and police stations. They record the police during traffic stops as well. Take a look at this; if anyone shows any interests, I'll respond. I tried arguing with one of the activists in the YouTube comment section, wound up with a video being dedicated to me. Funny stuff. They're skillful, and trained at casting shade, swapping insults, accusing the target of escalating the situation, etc. I find it very interesting. Give this video at least 10 minutes, then give me an opinion or feedback. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puZ-Wcdr494 Is this tactic awful, or a positive thing ? |
Here's the video dedicated to me; very flattering and funny IMHO.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9n7...bnp5hrk0h00410 You'd have to watch the following video, and then read my debate with the publisher, to understand how a video was dedicated to me. It was my introduction to First Amendment Audits. You can skip to the six minute mark, before things get juicy in the video. At 8:00 minutes, and some seconds, it's hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Xx9...Ig29VTtDB0n6N0 I thought the guy taking the video was just an asshole, but now I sort of understand what they're doing. |
I was told long time ago, since passed along to my sons advice on interaction with po-po.
Keep your eyes down and mouth shut..... Can't talk your way out of a ticket...ect... can for sure talk your way into trouble. Guy with the camera was a real Richard Noggin. I guess in a free and open society groups like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amendment_audits have a place. I don't agree with their intimidation and confrontation. To me it smells of spoiling for a fight. |
^^^ good advice.
