But, he's a BUSINESSMAN!
 
Someone please explain to me how these people fail to see that a "businessman" can be just as corrupt, if not more so in some cases, than any politician?

I really don't get it, any more than I ever understood people who think a "military man" would necessarily make a great president. We've had a LOT of those and some of them were downright terrible.

That's not to say that someone from those backgrounds couldn't be good at the job, I just don't understand how they think it's any guarantee of performance.

Are they really that simpleminded?

Not simpleminded, arrogant self centered selfish simpleton more encompassing and be more to my liking.

OK have businessmen run the country if the citizens can then have a union and a negotiated contract representing them....

Humm...;)

Worse yet is he was a awful businessman.
