...meanwhile, TX junior senator Teddy Cruz flees to Cancun...

Good. Notice there was no nonsense comments about party the way there was with the western fires during the Trump Administration. This is what America needs, not what the Trump Cult had to offer.

Hopefully enough Texans are paying attention to the whys and hows of they're freezing their asses off and their water is undrinkable without boiling. Ted Cruz should be looking for a new job next election and their idiotic homegrown grid needs to be rethought.

Turn Texas Purple!:D

Real disaster for Texans is their Junior Senator Cancun Cruz who went MIA while Texas became a tundra. AOC and Betto are rolling their sleeves and helping them and I wonder if some don't feel that they made a mistake in reelecting Fled Cruz, though his approval rating has dipped to 45.

This is worth reading to get a quick synopsis on Texas energy predicament. Its mind boggling that Texas is the larger producer of fossil fuels and up there with the renewables too.

Spot prices for energy, which can be 1000 times the base rate, should to be retroactively rolled back as the shortages responsible for the extreme prices are the fault of the suppliers.

Perhaps it could even lead to (gasp) r-e-g-u-l-a-t-i-o-n.

My power company in Kansas City sent a couple of emails, saying they were going to start rolling black-outs in order to send power down to Texas.

It never happened.

I'm wondering if it's even possible to transfer electricity that far ?

Anybody know ?
