The poisoning of America

While we wait on the (hopefully) inevitable, something that's beginning to rear it's ugly head. After years of work by the GOP, distilling all the way down to DJT a large portion of the American public are in their own reality. The Reich-Wing conservative way is right and holy, everything else is evil. Donny is currently busy throwing matches onto this pile of tinder. He is unwilling to accept the results of the election (he even told us so in advance). He is unwilling to give up what in his mind he's rightly won. He's showing (so far) no reluctance to destroy our democracy trying to retain power. He's like a person that's fallen off a cliff and is vainly flailing his limbs on the way down. His cult, believing everything that falls out of his mouth is the holy truth, will probably go to their graves believing the Dems stole the election. I am of afraid what the extremist will do faced with the loss of "their man" in the WH. The GOP spent the time BT (before trump) priming the pump. Promoting the belief among the Republican faithful that anything other than reich-wing conservatism was out to destroy America and the American way of life. Partnering with the evangelicals so if you've not "with us" you're against God. I hope I have enough time left in this world to see this damage undone.

70,000,000 votes for incompetent, cruel, fascism. Why? Some don't see how awful he is, and some don't care, and some do some of both.

Even more voted against it, which must be the source of our hope.

If it had just been white people voting, it would have been a Trump landslide. That part makes me sick.

Trump has 'pulled the curtain back' and showed us who we are. Some of us already were aware.

Our comparative date of awareness is not really the issue, though.

Somewhere some GOP strategist is lamenting that very point.

Although the 'pulling back of the curtain' clearly is and Biden's victory isn't going to change that.

I voted two weeks ago. I get more apathetic about it every time. Never seems to matter who wins or who loses the country just keeps getting more and more divided.

The country got better and more divided during Obama's terms.

It's kinda funny how it's almost always those 'godless democrats' who're turning the other cheek.

"It's what we do." Pres. B. Obama

I do not think that all of these people are incompetent. I think that deep in their heart a very lot of them are pining for a competent political orientation and for a qualified political leadership.
