Castle Doctrine

I see the Maryland governor just signed one of them "Make my day" laws.

Say Rob, ya'll got one of them "Big iron on your hip" laws to go with it? One without the other is worthless.

It appears to me that Bugtussell is expanding!!!

I'm just teasing, don't get too mad at me.

He must see Bobby "Haircut" Ehrlich approaching in the rear view mirror (in the upcoming Governor's race). He must be trying to get a vote or two outside of the DC suburbs and Baltimore.

They did the same thing back home in Ohio a few years back. It wasn't long before some yahoo in Warren shot a guy for sticking an "Obama in '08" sign infront of his house.

Give a yahoo a liscence to kill and you can bet it won't be long before he finds an excuse...................

I'll bet it confuses the hell out of them to see that it was a DEMOCRAT who signed this law. Just like it does to remind them of "The Brady Bill". A REPUBLICAN espousing "gun control", or the fact that a "gun control petition" was personally delivered to Richard Nixon (R) by none other than CHARLETON HESTON, shortly after the MLK (D?) and RFK (D) assassinations.

The Texas School Board doesn't need to rewrite history. Many of these people have no idea what the "old" history was. So why bother? Just have Beck point out who the boogeymen are and who to vote for to stop them. They'll comply.

Note that it does say "reasonable" so shooting someone sticking a sign out front is not going to cut it. It may well be in response to the senseless breakins of late where the homeowners have been harmed.

As for Bobby Haircut I don't imagine many voters will forget that he was responsible for a 33% increase in spending and also responsible for a 72% hike in your electric bill.

Not sure about Maryland, but in Missouri CD doesn't give you a right to shoot anyone, but it does give you a defense if you're forced to shoot someone in defense of your, or someone elses life.

You can't shoot someone for stealing your teevee set.

True, but some of the less astute than us will assume that they can, Chas.
Hence the Ohio case I cited. He did go to jail for that, BTW.
