Herman Cain Dead From Covid19

Herman Cain, the former pizza chain executive who sought the 2012 "Republican presidential nomination, has died weeks after testing positive for the coronavirus, according to an announcement Thursday on his website.

“You’re never ready for the kind of news we are grappling with this morning,” Dan Calabrese, the editor of Cain’s website, wrote in a statement. “Herman Cain — our boss, our friend, like a father to so many of us — has passed away.”

Calabrese confirmed the death to The Washington Post and said the cause was covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

While it is unclear where Cain, who was 74, contracted the disease, he was among several thousand people who attended a Trump campaign rally in Tulsa on June 20, most of whom did not wear masks. Cain, who co-chaired Black Voices for Trump, was pictured maskless and not socially distancing at the event." WP

Another dead American because of Trump's vanity. RIP and condolences to his family.

You missed where I said they'd blame the protesters in Tulsa.

Have not read that yet.

Was he at a protest in Tulsa?
Missed that one too!

Doubt very much many BLM protesters were inside at the Trump rally to begin with.

My guess is that in this case, the Repubs in general don't care enough to bother spinning it.

It’s not clear when or where he was infected, but he was hospitalized less than two weeks after attending Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June.

Which means he most likely contracted it two to four days after the rally. Rally was on the 20th, symptoms on the 29th, hospitalization on the 1st.

I quote AP again, for emphasis: "It’s not clear when or where he was infected." There was no contact tracing performed to figure out where/when he got it.

Why is this soooo important to you, Skippy?
