"I was getting really annoyed with all the 'wear the mask' talk, so I decided to put one on so they'd come out against them," Trump said at a press conference. "I played the media like a fiddle. Well, I've never played a fiddle, but I was always told I had beautiful hands that would be perfect for the fiddle. I bet I'd be tremendous at the fiddle."

Actually, just another poser action by Trump. And he was LYING, of course , when he said that he did so to “play the media”.
The real reason was that his visit to Walter Reed was not so much about seeing the injured soldiers as it was about yet another photo op for his fall campaign ads.
Yes, the reason that he wore the mask wa so that he ONE TIME that he did so would show up in campaign ads as if he did so all the time.

The really sad part is that satire is so close to the actual actions and words of Trump that it’s hard to tell the difference.

When our time of testing as a nation came, we could not even suffer the wearing a mask.

The Greatest Generation passed theirs, we failed miserably. We as a nation have turned soft and lazy it seems now. Getting the results paid back for it now.
