The failure of GOP governors to respond propery indeed endangers everyone. One unnecessary link in the network of contacts can give the virus a path around isolation, and breach the protection isolation offers. Lax policies in red states create many unnecessary links elsewhere, and increase the danger of these links.

The virus is especially dangerous to older people, and many of those in that demographic probably voted for Trump in many red states.

Putin uses falsehoods to keep his reign on power. Trump does the same thing but luckily it is so obvious to everyone. Need I mention Mr. Pillow and British Parliamentary style toady questions like the reporter who mentioned abortion at yesterday's press conference?

Endemic corruption is always in the mix of most governments in the Third World.

I coined and started using this term years ago now, Corrupblican or added Banana to the front. When seeming to deserve the clearer portrait of them. Combining the terms corrupt and republican just feels like a correct fit and to be right somehow.
