Michael Flynn was a Foreign Agent

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump was not aware that his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, had worked to further the interests of the government of Turkey before appointing him, the White House says.

The comments came two days after Flynn and his firm, Flynn Intel Group Inc., filed paperwork with the Justice Department formally identifying him as a foreign agent and acknowledging that his work for a company owned by a Turkish businessman could have aided Turkey’s government.

Flynn was paid $530,000 by Turkey from August to November while working in the Trump campaign. He then was appointed National Security Advisor with inadequate vetting. How can Trump & Co. complain about a FISA warrant (used to investigate foreign agents) when he has an admitted foreign agent on his campaign staff and later as NSA? Feckin' Keystone Cops.

The issue was that he hired him, a foreign agent, to work on his campaign staff and then as his National Security Advisor. So much for "extreme vetting."

Sounds like the Senate didn't do its job. Are you saying that Trump should personally vet each critical appointee? Pretty sure that's for those at a lower pay grade. And the foreign agent was fired when found out.

The Donald's on a learning curve. ;)

Very old news, wounder why it has taken so long to seem relevant? Could it be he Flynnally admits it?

CNN and others ran a story way back in November 2016. Probably even before but nobody was listening it appears.

The senate never does it's job.

In fact I would say the senate and congress are nothing but a social club for the well to do who don't have skills or are so socially unacceptable that they cannot work in the private sector.

That bloated ego is ".......on a learning curve"? Since when do people like Trump shut up long enough to let anyone else tell them the right way to do something, let alone listen to anyone who's trying to tell them they're f**king up? Give me a break.

He and his "great German blood" will keep trying to enforce his will until we are rid of him.

The National Security Advisor does not require Senate confirmation. The White House (VP Pence) said yesterday that they just found out about him being a foreign agent for Turkey (i.e., that they didn't know it when they fired him).

More Trump administration alt news?

Why would the White House hire a foreign agent unless they wanted what he was willing to provide?
