Melania Trump Is Taking Down the Blogger Who Called Her an ‘Escort’

There's good news for First Lady Melania Trump in her $150 million lawsuit against Maryland-based blogger, Webster Tarpley.

Politico reports that Mrs. Trump won the first round of the libel suit Friday, which was filed back in September after Tarpley published rumors on his blog that she was a “high-end escort.”

Tarpley's lawyer, Danielle Giroux, argued during a two-hour long hearing at the Montgomery County Circuit Court that her client only claimed that there were rumors Mrs. Trump was an escort during her days as a model:

“He did not say that Melania Trump was a high-class escort. What he said was there are rumors about that. He's writing about the rumors and that, itself, is newsworthy."

But Trump's lawyer, Charles Harder, disagreed with the article's publication. He claimed that Tarpley had a responsibility to only report facts that had been verified, according to Politico.

“That's not how the law works. You can't print a rumor if it's not true and it damages or harms someone's reputation. That is textbook defamation.”

Tarpley called for the suit to be tossed out, but lost the battle at Friday's pretrial hearing.

NBC News reports that Maryland Judge Sharon Burrell has decided to move forward with the defamation lawsuit. Judge Burrell ruled:

“The court believes most people, when they hear the words 'high-end escort' that describes a prostitute. There could be no more defamatory statement than to call a woman a prostitute.”

You mean Alternate Facts aren't legal?

Much as Trump's arm candy wife should be off limits, she's a public figure. I don't see how she can prevail in this lawsuit.

If you have the crap that was done to the Obama's, all of them, she doesn't have any case at all.

Michelle was called an ape in high heels.

An escort can also be a companion, not solely a prostitute.

The discovery process may well be enlightening, at the least. Maybe we'll find out if she really was working in the U.S. sans 'greencard'? ;)

Interesting to see how the pseudo-left Democrats support women when it isn't one of their own.

Elizabeth Lauten, communications director for Tennessee Rep. Steve Fincher and a former communications staffer for the Republican National Committee, wrote the screed against the First Daughters in a Facebook post on Thanksgiving.
In it, she scolded them for their clothes and bored looks during Wednesday's turkey pardoning, and took aim at the President and First Lady for failing to "respect their positions."
"Dear Sasha and Malia: I get you're both in those awful teen years, but you're a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play," Lauten wrote in the post.
"Then again, your mother and father don't respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter," she added. "So I'm guessing you're coming up a little short in the 'good role model' department."

While Sasha and Malia Obama, 13 and 16 years old, respectively, indeed both looked less than enthusiastic to accompany their father to the Turkey pardoning ceremony on Wednesday, their typically teenage glowers were met with amusement by multiple media outlets.
Lauten, however, had some advice for the First Daughters, imploring them in the Facebook post to "stretch yourself...rise to the occasion" and "act like being in the White House matters to you."
"Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don't make faces during televised, public events," she concluded.

Malia Obama got into Harvard and Fox News fans called her a “Little Monkey”

Posted 9 months ago.

Julianne Malveaux

Malia Obama deserves congratulations. Admitted to Harvard University, she has decided to take a gap year, a mature choice that many students make when they want a break between intense and competitive studies and college.

This is a great time for her to take a gap year. After these eight years in the White House as a “First Daughter”, she now has a chance to enjoy life and pursue some of her non-academic interests. She speaks fluent Spanish, so perhaps she’ll take some time to travel to Mexico, Cuba, or Spain.

She is interested in television and film, so perhaps she’ll work as a production assistant (or even a commentator) on a television program.

She may be interested enough in politics to volunteer for some down-ticket candidate. Imagine the boost she could give to California Attorney General Kamala Harris in her Senate race this fall!

It is going to be interesting to see how this young woman’s life unfolds.

In reaction to Malia’s good news, the racists are out in full force.

According to the website AddictingInfo.org, the Fox crew was so vitriolic that Fox had to close down a page due to the volume and negative comments regarding her announcement.

The content of the messages hardly deserves reprint, but it is no surprise that the beautiful young lady was called a “monkey,” not to mention the “N-word” and worse.

Did the voices in your head tell you that? The worst she was called in this thread is 'arm candy'. Maybe you're getting ahead of yourself?
