Don’t Blame Me If Trump Wins
This is an excellent article IMO.

Trump doesn't broker agreements and TSPs. He just doesn't pay the workers. He bankrupts contractor companies, his own company, and he takes the money, runs, and lawyers up.
In the end, they get screwed either way. |
About half of Trumps support is from anti-Hillary voters and about the same for Hillary from anti-Trump voters. Let's assume that these numbers will stay till November.
It's quite possible that Hillary's support will soften significantly since the FBI report was publicized. If so her margin in the polls can only diminish thus making the election a tossup. OTOH, Trump may be able to stall on his TrumpU lawsuit thus minimizing any fallout from his support. |

This says quite a bit about us as a people. We have the potential for greatness, but we don't want to fuck with it. Our for-fathers would be proud. |

Trump University, yeah, that's a scam, but no worse than hundreds, shit thousands of other scams out there. And it pales in comparison to the way Wall Street rips off Main Street on a daily basis. I feel that Trump is, quite frankly, being treated very unfairly and I think it's mostly because he's not a political insider. |

If you are worried about Wall Street ripping off Main Street..... Then why do you support Trump? Trump IS Wall Street. |

Trump is Trump. As for what kind of President he would be, I have no idea. And neither do you. But with Hillary I know. She will be same shit different day and that is no good as far as I am concerned. At least with Trump we have a chance. And if he's bad, we get a chance to run a real progressive against him in four years. On the other hand if Hillary is elected we are also going to be stuck with her in 2020 because no matter how bad she is, it is virtually unheard of for a sitting President not to get their parties nomination if they run for reelection. So that means 2024 is the next chance to run a true progressive, which Hillary is not. |
The article cited in the OP starts with the premise that trade agreements are inherently and indisputably bad. I think that such agreements, on balance, are good for the country and its workforce.
