I guess corruption brought to the Middle East by Western Companies does have an effect on our global environment when borders disappear and people migrate to other continents to escape war.

It is an old game.

Corruption was a way of life in the middle east long before any corporations got involved. Unaoil was probably setup as a front doing the actual bribery so that the corporation could tell their holier than thou governments - Oh no we did not bribe anyone. Actually we have K-street so our government should know all about bribery.
