Damn you Joad... :)
1. I don't think he will win.
2. He is not my Democratic candidate. 3. I do not believe he should be the nominee. But Bernie is growing on me. Kudos. I am Glenmorangie lit, consumed with one ice cube (sipping but duration) and a very full bodied La Flor Dominicana cigar, watching a repop of this evening's debate. It took over two hours and I am...fuzzy... (Sigh.) Do I believe Senator Sanders is inherently wrong? No. I also believe that like Steve Biko, Moses, Malcom X, Dennis Banks, Susan B. Anthony and others that he is a generation (at least) ahead of the curve in terms of rational reform. I like the passion but he is WAY in front of his -- and our -- headlights, if most of his stuff is even the correct move (and if he can be compared to those people). I'm not buying the emotionalism, Bernie's not changing government. And, as Robert Reich said (paraphrased), the best person for the government we have now is Hillary Clinton. Sum? Hillary Clinton. |
Afraid I have to agree as the chances of anyone who declares himself a so************************t getting elected POTUS are so remote as to be imaginary

I'm being constantly surprised at the number of people who proclaim to me that they are voting Sanders, from old war vets, to my old pop. These are old men who I've known my entire life, I respect these guys, all in their 80's and 90's. I don't think the Sanders movement is limited to the young.
