The Bush Surge

I hope this is an outlier.

I do not want to see Bush get back into contention. :(

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) surged into second place in a New Hampshire poll released Wednesday by the Emerson College Polling Society, although real-estate billionaire Donald Trump retained a double-digit lead in Granite State.

The poll showed support for Trump at 35 percent of likely Republican voters, a 17-point lead over Bush, who came second with 18 percent. The only other candidate with a double-digit showing was Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R). Although this is Emerson’s first poll of New Hampshire voters in the 2016 cycle, Trump’s standing is consistent with virtually all other polling of the state.

Looks like it was a bit of an outlier.

The latest poll has him at 11% in New Hampshire, and as I understand it he has been concentrating his efforts and resources there.

The RCP average has him in fifth place behind Trump, Cruz, Kasich and Rubio, but he is in striking distance of 2nd. Trump is way out in front, but the next four are bunched up pretty tight.

This is pretty mind boggling. Bush has blown through $82 million bucks so far!

I would love to see him run, he wouldn't get a single vote outside of gopper hardliners. PAC's would have a field day connecting him to his war criminal economy destroying brother too. :)

Jeb! Wants to Overturn Citizens United

Jeb! is feeling his oats after his New Hampshire "comeback" where he finished 4th with 11% of the vote. Now if he just had more money, think of what he could do!

It’s safe to assume that when most people say they want the 2010 Supreme Court Citizens United decision to be overturned, it’s because they’ve seen its disastrous effects and they want to see big money have less influence in politics. But GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush, who inspired a flurry of headlines on Monday when he expressed his support for reversing the decision, actually wants instead what many would consider an even worse system: one where billionaires can give unlimited money directly to the candidates themselves.

After spending $2800 per vote in Iowa, Jeb Bush and his super PAC, Right to Rise, have continued the spree by paying about $1200 per vote in New Hampshire. Investing an egregious amount of money in ads landed Bush in fourth place with 11 percent of the vote, according to election results as of Tuesday night.
And he's trying to spin this as his "comeback"

Exactly. Let us look at this as income redistribution by the GOP. ;)

I hope 'Right to Rise and Spend' contributes to our NorCal economy by spending around $5K per head; as we all know this is a very expensive area. Free Uber rides to all voters!
