Wouldn't it be something if once AI is running HR. It finds a lot of unneeded expenditure at the upper end of the company. Uses the savings once cutting the top level management to hire more AI..... a bigger power supply or flashing lights...faster Hard Drives...

Wow! Much fewer workers to pay taxes, and support small businesses if AI takes root.

Workers develop AI software and hardware and software engineers make far more than HR weenies. Do you still regret the demise of the buggy whip industry? |
What is being overlooked is the people loosing jobs to a computer.
Will the new AI programs doing the work of humans buy homes? Cars? Stereos? Pay taxes? Or just be a cost sayings for the employer with the consumers never seeing a reduction or benefit on their end? |

Already AI are handling phone center jobs more and more. Try and talk to a live person for customer service. See how long it takes to get thru........ Just because you can do something does not mean you should. People need jobs. Espically in a world over crowded like this one. There is a place for AI and robots. It is just that we don't want to expand the people being outsourced causing even more of those who feel left behind. |
