Will Dems point to KS....
I've not heard much national talk about this at all but right now Kansas is the model that the right wants for the entire country. Needless to say, to date, it's failing miserably.
Do you think the Dems will point it out and when? It's right there for all to see..... |
Look to Kansas.... The dems should make that an election mantra.

I'd think what Dave said above should be the response. The gov't of KS is a right wing nocturnal emission. It is also a nightmare and a glaring example that what W did will be a walk in the park compared to what we may get. |

What Brownback and the Republicans have done in Kansas is an unqualified and undisguised disaster. That much has to be obvious to anyone and the fact that the chosen "remedies" are an increase in sales tax and the gutting of public institutions like education can only mean that the disaster was perpetrated deliberately precisely so that forced austerity and increased regressive taxation could be shoved down the people's throats. If they try this shit on a national basis, there will be hell to pay. Revolutions have been fought for less. |
Look to WI- same story. There's a reason Scooter's polling at 0% (latest CNN poll), besides the fact he can't function in a debate...

I'd be out on the trail hammering on this. Bernie should be as they say he has nothing to lose.
Koch's run Kansas, no reason not to go right at them |

The sad fact about the Democratic Party is that they haven't the balls to point out what a farce the whole notion that "the GOP runs things better" thing really is. Kansas, Mississippi....Walkers disastrous reign of terror in Wisconsin........a total friggin' mess.
The Dems need to learn that the only way to beat Republicans is with their own game. Stop being nice to the bastards and just shove their lies and failures in their fat, pasty faces. Spare no effort to degrade and humiliate. Fuck'em. |
It takes balls to play Captain Obvious?

I hadn't quite realized this before. Folks, it's 'by any means necessary' now. It's them or us. |

I noticed it the first time (Circa late 1980s.) I had a hard right winger tell me "The problem with you god damned people is that you try to make a lucrative career out of it." You see, none of us god damned people, (whatever that was supposed to mean), are supposed to expect to live off of our trade. We're all supposed to remain poor and struggling and be proud of it, so assholes like him can get wealthy off of us being his willing step-n-fetch-it. Suck up to the arrogant pr**k, so he can feel all boss-like. I guess what made him so bitter is that some of us refuse to play along. Must mean we "hate America"? |
Aware on individual level, certainly, but explicit awareness of this malice, as informing the minds behind the whole 'movement' and the big PAC $ and the whole thing--nope, guess that hadn't quite jelled. It's sort of like thinking there are 'Bond villains' loose in the world. Except it's not fiction.
As for what makes them so bitter, I think they just get a charge out of it. Really. Hate is it's own reward, figured that one out a while back. |

I think I spend too much time on this crap and let it get to me.... Hmmmmm. Something to consider. |
Not a peep from the right wingers on this.....interesting.....
|
Right wingers who are operating 'tactically' on the boards will just try to let threads 'die' that make points they really don't like....
