I like to listen to some of Nugents music as I with others like Neil Young. Their political affiliation doesn't change what I want to listen to.

Dunno how that works there, more guns obviously isn't the answer tho. Just had another asshole here with a gun he should not have had shoot up a church meeting. It's easier to get a gun than register to vote, and folks think they are entitled to them regardless. At least it's not Syria or Somalia here.

Interesting. Many family members and friends live in California. My sister has lived in South Central Los Angeles for almost 40 years now with her husband and none of what you've described has happened to any of them...(btw they do not own firearms at all)

I lived here all my life so did my brother in law. Well, at least till he had his brains splattered all over the interior of his car by a gang banging crack dealer. Yep, shot in the head at 28 for no reason at all, other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. His son was 3 at the time when he had to find out daddy is never coming back home.

I don't know that your experience, however tragic, can be considered typical. Here in Bamastan and back in Salt Lake City, the same stuff goes on. Wrong place, wrong time, asshole with gun.
I rarely carry anymore tho permitted, but I try to remember to keep the house doors locked and the locations of the loaded pistols.
