Dead Zombie Posts-Dispatched GOP Klown Kar Kandidate Obituaries

This thread will proclaim the most recent GOP candidate drop outs from the 2016 campaign. Since it is possible for non-contenders to last ages beyond their shelf lives because of Citizen's United and Superpacs we may not have any entries until August 2016.

Rachel Maddow thinks Rand Paul may be knocking on the Klown Kar Exit door.:)

Just for grins, we ought to at least hazard a guess as to who will be the first to fold. I'm thinking Santorum.

All 3 are dead men walking. I think it's gonna be Jeb, Trump, Kasich or Rubio. No others will come close in the end.

Rajoo 08-22-2015 11:00 AM

There is fierce competition within well established factions. Cruz, Huckabee and Santorum are vying for the religious right's attention. Perry and Christie for the CEO experience but are getting overshadowed by Bush and Kasich. Then there is the Trump reality show all by itself dominating the media. The rest are just simply lost in the primary process.

In the end Trump, Bush and Rubio will be choices with Rubio as a consensus VP candidate.

The Koch money isn't going to any of the zombies. It's going to Walker and, if you believe some conspiracy theories, Trump.

The Koch Brothers do not make "contributions".

They make loans, which they expect to be paid back at an extremely high rate of interest.

So they aren't going to be looking to make those loans to people that have no prospects of being able to pay them back.

icenine 08-22-2015 12:47 PM

Didn't Adleson keep Newt alive?

I should have not used the Koch Brothers as an example.

BlueStreak 08-22-2015 01:12 PM

Just watch the Facebook pages of these clowns; Santorum, Huckabee, Cruz.......they're all walking dead. People (Like me.) only stop by to heap abuse on them. It's hilarious.

BTW, I've been banned from Huckabees FB page. As if I care, really.

Yes, he did. This time around he appears to have teamed up with the Kochs so I guess Walker's his boy this time.

Get banned from the other two and I will show you some respect. :)
I don't do FB, I have a dormant account ever since I signed up and maybe should activate it to watch the fireworks.

Huckabee: the only Republican candidate whose last name begins with "F". (Ask Megyn Kelly.)

Santorum: a candidate and a noun. (Google it.)

William B. Fuckley comes to mind, tho the Vatican's self appointed American spokesman afaik never ran for political position.
Santorum goes with sanctimonious, which goes with Jesus weasel. He has plenty of like company in the klown kar.

The only thing that could make him look smarter than a ficus is standing with someone like Sarah Palen or Donald Trump.

Jindal should be up next since he fell on the sword for their anti-Trump crusade.

Point taken. Pit bull would, however, be too complimentary.

Rudy Giuliani, Scott Walker and Chris Christie are one trick ponies; 9/11, Teachers Union, general union buster and it shows. They bring no other credentials to the table and really have no campaign message other than 'look at me'.

It appears that Snot may be heading for the exits.

Quote:

Republican Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin plans to drop out of the 2016 U.S. presidential race after deciding he has no path to win his party's nomination, a Republican familiar with the decision said on Monday.

Walker's campaign announced he would hold a news conference in Madison, Wisconsin, at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, but it did not say what he would discuss. His campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

So, who gets what's left of the Kochs' $889,000,000,000.00?

My guess is that they'll be looking for a Bush/Fiorina ticket.
