What do you call that paintjob? It appears marbled.

That's gonna go for a TON of green. Heck, if I had the cash I would be there trying to out bid all the others.

Wonder what's worth in todays market? I've been out of the loop for a couple of years. Maybe $800,000.00?

That is one ugly car.
But if somebody offered it to me for free I'd take so I could sell it to one of you idiots. |

It may be ugly, but it's worth a small fortune.
Think this ugly piece of Japanese shit Attachment 2548 will ever be worth more than the no class having idiots who own them paid for them? |

Now if I had virtually unlimited money, which lets face it, that's what you need to own an old classic because they are essentially a black hole in your driveway that sucks up money, then I would probably go for something in the mid-1950's. Not a Chevy because that makes you like everyone else, but maybe a Black and White 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible. http://i843.photobucket.com/albums/z...rofile_Web.jpg |

These days, you can build a late 1960s Mustang, via aftermarket, without starting with a car.
I get that you're starting with provenance here but to actually produce a muscle car clone isn't crazy expensive anymore. |
Here's one that is close to what I would want.
If I was rich, I'd go ahead and buy this one and have the exterior repainted in two tone black and white. http://www.vaultcars.com/1955-oldsmo...88-convertible I had a 1956 '98 two door hardtop back in 1964-65. It was in pretty bad shape when I paid $250 bucks for it, and I couldn't afford to fix it right. But when it was running good it was a really sweet ride. That 324 Rocket V-8 with the 4 barrel would move that Oldsmobile right along. It also sucked up hi-test gas like a motherfucker.:( I got about 11-12 mpg. |

How's life? Have you moved to Cuba? |

But at least it's not the worst place in the state. I'm in Mobile, Jimmy Buffet's home town, so I'm near the Gulf, and they have Publix here, so I don't have to grocery shop at the Piggly Wiggly. |
Alabama?! Damn - well, at least you're by the water.
There are some serious Jimmy Crack Corn types in Alabamy, though. |
