I liked the old Twin Towers much more than the new One World Trade Center.

Add to that all the time, effort and hundreds of billions of dollars that we have pissed away on Homeland Security bullshit since then.

That's another bottomless money pit.

And Bin Laden's 9/11 budget was what?

A couple of hundred thousand?

So who fucked who?

I agree. I think it would have been a stronger message to have built them back exactly as they were.

Was it worth the 5,000 plus corpses of American GI's?

I never said it was. All I did was expand on Bob's post with a little humor. You'll have to pick a fight with someone else.

The State of Florida's Capitol building in Tallahassee.

Did they lose their lives totally in vain? It is a horrible toll of lives but I am convinced that - also in all forthcoming cases - the Evil will never be victorious.

Okay - I am not quite sure about that concerning the right wingers in Congress... :D

I prefer the twin towers too and think the spire is a teenie bit of, ahem, exaggeration :)

That said it's a very good looking building. The 9-11 museum is supposed to be amazing too. I may actually visit NYC to see it.

And Osama 'won'?

Pete
