Absolutely nothing new here. Right or wrong, this sort of stuff happens every day. Back in the day, I prepared Congressional testimony for committee hearings on DoD, Labor and DOE activities. We frequently consulted/coordinated with committee staffs. They were the only ones involved with the committees who knew shit from shinola. The Congresscritters were, for the most part, pretty clueless and more interested in grandstanding/sound bites. I guess all this shows is that Issa has no clue how such committees are run (which also isn't news).

A guy that worked in the cubicle next to me got a really steamy e-mail from a girl that worked in another agency that we sometimes delt with. Apparently my buddy had the same first name (Frank) as this married Dude that she was having an affair with and she was pissed at him because he was putting off leaving his wife for her. It had him going for a little while because he knew the girl. But then he realized she had sent it to the wrong Frank. :D

I see that nothing much has changed.
