Dysfunctional House Withdraws Vote

The Republican controlled House can't even corral enough votes to pass a party line vote for a paltry sum to increase border security before they head off on their five week summer vacation.

finnbow 07-31-2014 03:19 PM

Moreover, Cruz again crossed over to the House to whip up the 'Bagger faction there against this meager action. I bet Boehner is probably pretty near to calling in a hit on that 'Bagger Boss.

MrPots 07-31-2014 03:19 PM

It's all the republican bid to prove that if they don't control the government, nobody will.

Republicans Hate democracy....

They sure aren't demonstrating the will or capacity to govern.

MrPots 07-31-2014 03:24 PM

They don't know how to govern, they only know how to dictate....

you WILL do this and you WILL do that.....

djv8ga 07-31-2014 03:35 PM

Good! Those idiots in leadership tried to pull a fast one to appease the Chamber Of Commerce which resulted in the phone system melting down.
Oh well, I guess there won't be any money....

Rick Perry publicly criticized the 'Bagger fools responsible for this. I suppose he's trying to look presidential.

I hope you're sitting down Deej cause I agree ;). It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in August for the DCCC. The nihilist wing of the Republican party has taken over lock, stock and barrel. Please start impeachment proceedings as soon as you get back to D.C. knuckledraggin' 'baggers. :D

Ted Cruze engineered this, a fellow Texan and probable presidential candidate. I think they should challenge each other to a duel. :)

Not until the next "Big" E.O. gets signed. At that point, most Americans will want his lousy ass out. ;)

It takes somebody like Ted Cruz to make Rick Perry look presidential.

Dirty Hippies = Rednecks around these parts. Out in the Shenandoah Valley around Front Royal (the entrance to Shenandoah Nat'l Park), the redneck hippies are a tough bunch.

This just in:

As House Republicans struggled Thursday to rally behind legislation to address the influx of illegal immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), a tea party favorite who has close ties to House conservatives, dismissed talk that he was partly responsible for the GOP’s stumble.

Defending his recent meetings with House Republicans, Cruz insisted that he was seeking fellowship with conservatives, rather than whipping against House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio).

In addition to being a pompous idiot, he's a lying sack of shit.

Majority leader? A majority of one may be.
He is a rookie senator and a legend in his own mind.
