If Hillary were to bow out and Warren ran, the amount of money that Wall St. would pour into her opponent's campaign would be staggering. Hell, they'd probably hire a hit man.;)

Everytime I hear her speak I want her to run.

She really knows exactly what this country needs.

Goldman Sachs would go all Bonnie & Clyde on her inauguration motorcade (if not sooner).

By the way they have the 2013 version on netflix.

It was a pretty good movie, except they took considerable liberties with the facts as movies will do. Plus the chick they got to play Bonnie was way hotter than the real Bonnie. Also a movie thing.

Tom Joad 07-02-2014 06:26 PM

What I really like about this video is that she explains exactly how the Republicans are obstructing any legislation that would help the economy.

Then they blame the lack of recovery on Obama and the Dems.

Rajoo 07-02-2014 06:44 PM

Maybe Hillary Clinton could run with Elizabeth Warren as her running mate and then resign. ;)

Then Pres. Liz can appoint that fine member of the HOR from Florida to the vice presidency as insurance.

Not far from the truth.

Arkansas GOP official resigns after saying Hillary Clinton would ‘get shot at the state line’ if she ran for President

Yea she's top shelf, A number one. A female Bernie Sanders, what a job those two could do if in charge.

The Republicans sure were smart to block her appointment.:D

I definitely have a crush. She has a beautiful mind.

Maybe we should declare the country bankrupt and put it in the hands of Elizabeth Warren, Mary L. Schapiro, Sheila Bair and Hillary Clinton as trustees, they just might fix it as I am damn sure the men can't,

icenine 07-03-2014 09:25 AM

I hope Michelle runs for Senate.

Michelle who? Rage queen?

icenine 07-03-2014 09:57 AM

Prediction:

Ten years from now we may look back in anger at how Obama was hamstrung by the GOP and wish things had gone more his way. I can see Michelle running for office.
Hillary "is" doing it so why not?

The only Republican I might trust is Jeb Bush, and that is like me having to take a dose of cod liver oil. The rest of the party is just going off the deep end.

How doesn't the left see Warren is the answer, not another Clinton. This women has great ideas and an impressive history. Every labor union in the country would back her.

Except for the fact that only 11 percent of the workforce is unionized.
She would have to make a populist grab for the dispossessed. Which is indeed possible. She could even make inroads into the anti-Wall Street Tea Party movement.

Call me crazy but she would be gorgeous in black. The black robe of the Supreme Court. ;)

Dondilion 07-03-2014 11:20 AM

Darn! Endorsement from top to bottom!

While she would be eons better than most of the occupants of that bench, she is such an effective advocate that I want her out front instead of cloistered.

D-Ray

I was jousting with Bob. Even so, supreme court candidates are not so hard to come by (*) and most are introverted. A presidential candidate? Not so easy.

* Remember Harriet Miers? :D

If I am not mistaken a law degree is not required for the Supreme Court. Real people need to be put there. I would take Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad over Alito any day of the week. Alito, Mr Conservative and Libertarian, has always been on the government pay role if I am not mistaken....so am I but I am a liberal;)

my point is how real world is a lawyer that has only been working in the Federal government hearing appeals or arguing as solicitor generals...do they have a connection to everyday life?

we need lawyers on the court that graduated from Cleveland State not Harvard or Yale

maybe I am wrong about their experience but what kind of idiot thinks a corporation is a person? Someone who is disconnected from reality....these justices have not taken a Greyhound bus trip EVER!

I think they know exactly what they are doing. They are puppets put there to promote a right wing agenda.

Apparently intellect is also optional.

piece-itpete 07-07-2014 03:01 PM

Apparently both parties have come together in the joyous spirit of bipartisanship to show the world that only Yale and Harvard matter.

Pete

bobabode 07-07-2014 03:14 PM

You can always tell a Harvard man, just not much. A Yale man insists that you use the servants entrance if you want to talk...
