Unions Get The Hell Out Of My Business
Unions get the hell out of my business....
Court Says Unions Can't Force Health Workers to Pay Dues http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/...y-dues-n141536 |
As far as I know, this was only going on in public sector unions.

The thread title totally exemplifies the ownership class's total hatred of unions. "Ownership" seems to mess with people's minds, and not in a good way.

The Government and Unions were trying to make a Mom join the union because she was staying home to take care of her child. She applied for assistance and they gave it to her right up the ass. |
Public home healthcare workers in the state of Illinois.
Unless you're the state government of Illinois, Dan, this has nothing to do with you. I do find it interesting that you support workers being powerless against the government officials they work for, however. I thought you were a "screw the government, power to the people" kind of guy? The more you talk, the more you look like the "screw the people, power to the elite" kind of guy. You're just too pigheaded to see it. I'll bet you're a big fan of Lord Scott Walker keeping the serfs in line up in Wisconsin? Dave |

Unions get out of my house.....

Harris vs. Quinn. Right.
As I suspected, this actually has little to do with moms taking care of sick kids at home, that silliness is just an emotional leader, an excuse. The SCOTUS conservatives don't really give two shits about that and neither do you. It's the open door to launching attacks against unions in general. That's the greater point. So, tell me Dan; What is it that you so love about workers being stripped of their voice and ability to stand up to employers? Are you just a dick? Dave |
He sure has a case of the ass against unions which is strange for a dude in the construction trades. I wonder which union it was that he couldn't make the cut to get in?

Anyway I moved on and learned to finish woodwork. I don't have a problem with private sector unions. |
You're more fulla shit than usual tonight -5 if you believe that nonsense. It's a political hatchet job of retribution against government employees because they support Democrats through their union PACs. Do you really swallow these Karl Rove talking points for idiots whole hog without thinking about who benefits politically?

Freeloader, they are paid by Medicaid to care for in home bound patients. Only were paying a fee to the union for collective bargaining. Now who will help them when and assuredly the day will come when they need it? A patient complains about being abused or for stealing.
Seen it all to often people complaining about the union dues and not getting any benefits. All they while they are the ones who use the services offered by the union when in trouble. Same one's who complain about seniority until they have some juice! Freeloaders plain and simple, let others pay your way. Typical right mentality, oops don't want to give them any credit for an independent thought. Barney |

the home care network is staffed by hard working and underpaid health care providers who are taking care of our family members. I guess if one is taking care of a child or parent one may be upset with union dues...however nothing is permament....someday a stranger may be taking care of a loved one and I would hope they are getting a living wage so they provide as good care as possible. |

I think the court got this one right. I think it's a stretch to say that home health care workers are public employees just because a significant amount of their income comes from Medicare. There are a number of doctors specializing in geriatric care, but this does not make them public employees either.

1. You want the government out of the business you don't own. 2. You want the unions (and you don't specify public or private) out of the house you don't own. 3. You will continue to provide balanced reporting:rolleyes: from sources like the Frontpage Rag. 4. You lie like a rug, you're a union buster. Your political heroes are union busters and want all these commie union thugs gone. 5. You don't know shit from shinola about what is actually driving one state after another closer to bankruptcy. Because it ain't public unions, public school teachers, or state employee pensions. Those are just convenient targes for harebrained right-wingnuts who get their "information" from Frontpage Rag, FOX, and the EIB. |
