If I were making $250k a year, I would be a millionaire in not much time at all. Live off of $100k/yr and invest the rest. I'd be a millionaire in about 6 years.

In fact, I have been steadily saving 6-15%* 0f my income since 1991 and I am creeping up on $400k in savings. So, by the time I reach 62, I might be a millionaire as it is.
