So irrelevant the republicans have begun the smear campaign and she hasn't even thrown her hat in the ring yet. 😕

She was supposed to be unbeatable & Obama knocked her out. Now, with a week of media attention to promote her book, it's not selling.
Be careful putting all your eggs in one basket.

djv8ga 06-17-2014 12:28 PM

Maybe she should have included these tapes in her book. I guess defending a child rapist wasn't a hard choice.

"The Washington Free Beacon is an American web site that publishes news and associated content from a U.S. conservative perspective.[1][2][3] It states it is "committed to serving the public interest by reporting news and information that currently is not being fully covered by other news organizations."[4]

It was founded in February 7, 2012 by Matthew Continetti.[5][6] It is a project of the 501(c)4 organization Center for American Freedom.[4][3]

How do you figure Obama knocked her out?

I'll give you this much, if the Free Beacon is your news source? You might want to look farther afield.

He also "knocked out" all of the Republicans.

Careful putting your eggs in a basket full of holes.

What does Sarah Palin have to do with it?

Irrelevant. This person:

"More than three-quarters of all Americans predict that Clinton will win the Democratic nomination if she runs for the White House, and two-thirds say she is likely to be the next president if she is the party's standard-bearer in 2016, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll."

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...-a-sure-thing/

Yeah. Sounds irrelevant to me.

Dondilion 06-17-2014 01:31 PM

The Republicans are desperate.

MrPots 06-17-2014 02:06 PM

If they'd quit being such out of touch assholes they wouldn't have to play desperate.

Talk about irrelevant. Electoral math shows what gerrymandering has hidden. The Republican party is done for. If the Democrats manage to run someone who isn't addicted to Crack, they'll win. And they have a pretty good shot if they DO run someone who smokes crack.

Carl

Who? That guy from the Nixon administration? Nobody would be stupid enough to vote him into any office!

Oh. I guess they are.

Ike Bana 06-17-2014 10:04 PM

Hillary Clinton is the most popular politician in the country. She has been for a long time now. Anybody who suggests that Barack Obama has ruined anything for Hillary Clinton is blowing smoke out their big, white, hairy, zit-covered ass.

MikeG22 06-17-2014 10:33 PM

Hypothetically if Hillary does not run who is the next best candidate to run on the dem ticket?

I like Sen. Warren. She strikes the fear of god into those thieves down on Wall St. ;)

edit - Jumpin' Joe Biden too.

I could vote for Kerry. He should've been Prez in '04.

Pio1980 06-17-2014 10:49 PM

The 'Pubs should take another hard look at John Huntsman, but the Teapub's will object and insist on a fringe freak loon or nobody.

It seems that they like that loser Romney again lately. I have no clue why but that's the scuttlebutt I've heard.

MikeG22 06-17-2014 10:55 PM

Wouldn't Warren be a better candidate then Clinton?

Kerry there is just something I can't stand about him.

Liz might have less baggage, Kerry has mainly that honey wagon book of falsehoods Jerome Corsi published at him to sabotage his prior candidacy.

Plus one. He's more than a little wet behind the ears. He's too young and 'thirsty'. ;)

djv8ga 06-17-2014 11:25 PM

I like him. I am constantly defending him from Republicans who will never get over the fact he supported immigration reform.
He is a very impressive politician IMO & has my vote.

What else has he got going for himself? Sell him to, say, someone "on the fence".

Immigration reform has become the third rail in Repub circles. (The third rail is the one that holds the juice) For the life of me, I just don't get it.
It makes the Republican party look racist and close minded, which plays into the hands of the Dem establishment attack dogs. Oh well, as far back as I can remember - the 'pubbies always were in the hands of the country club set.

donquixote99 06-17-2014 11:44 PM

Country club set is best case. The Tea and Jesus brigades are bursting forth. It's Babbitry or it's even worse.

I miss William F. Buckley. Hell, I even miss Barry.

Funny how Goldwater seems comparatively sane these days. It's kind of like watching Lebanon become the stable actor in the Middle East. Strange days, indeed.

I only remember WFB as a shill for Wall St and the Vatican, Barry was better except for that unfortunate statement justifying anything the USA chose to do to its adversaries.
