I probably would have never looked at or posted on this thread. You see thats the difference these trolls can't help what they do. If it's something their not interested in or disagree with they crap all over it.

Your perception is incorrect, if you really believe that. The items posted in the war on women thread were topical (if cartoonish). They made political points, re 'war on women.' And you got on-topic text replies as well. Given that the whole thesis was a stupid 'flip the accusation' attack, your thread was quite successful, I'd say.

You by contrast are just posting noise here, selected to be annoying.

My belief is that you just want to do this sort of thing, due to your personal issues, and have seized on the 'war on women' thread as an excuse. As HK noted, your actions here are OTT, excessive, and unjustifiable.

I would add he's childish and churlish Don but that's come to be expected from 427. He exhibits no intellectual curiosity toward the issues as far as I can see and has a snide demeanor toward anyone who disagrees in the slightest. In other words, a troll.

The decennial re-districting needs to be taken out any politicians hands. Right or left has exhibited a total lack of self control in this regard.
The current scheme has left the Democrats at an 18 seat deficit in the House when compared to the popular vote.

As do election rules and regulations.

They get reformed every so often, the politicians un-reform them.

Same thing with judges hereabouts.

What he wants is to dismantle this forum because he's not treated in the fashion he desires. It's the same thing any narcissist will do to a workplace, or a family, or in any social situation when that narcissist isn't getting what he wants. He walked on here a hostile narcissist looking for trouble, pointing fingers at everybody else's behavior and taking no personal responsibility for his own...and he will never stop until the system that won't give them the adulation they need is taken down. It's psycho-pathological, ignoring doesn't work. Ignoring never works with a narcissist.

We've all seen photos used to wreck a forum before, now it's here. The only way for it to stop is for the management to get rid of him.

Your assessment may be correct. OTOH, the flaming narcissists I've encountered online in the past had no ability to modify their behavior, regardless of feedback or other circumstances. This does not seem to be the case here. I see a person who indulges hostile feelings sometimes, and does try narcissistic 'punishing' of others sometimes, but nonetheless is generally in control of himself.

Every individual is an individual, and no label is ever going to be the whole story.

It's on a continuum Don. There is a significant range of behavior from one end of the continuum to the other. From simple traits and tendencies, to full blown clinical characterological disorganization. And it's an emotional problem, so depending on the level of emotional disorganization from day to day, one can appear more or less disordered...more or less in control of themselves. But I guarantee you this guy is on that continuum and on it at a point where it's intractable. Some of the most difficult and problematic narcissists I've ever run into in 20 years of work, were able to present themselves as generally in control of themselves when necessary...along with being obsessively driven to control everybody else as well.

But when somebody starts putting up giant side scrolling pictures and tells everybody that he's gonna deluge the forum with more of the same until everybody starts giving him only the feedback he believes he deserves...that's all I need to hear. It is what it is...and it ain't a label when it's accurate.

How many 5 below's does it take to change a lightbulb? Just one. He stands underneath the ceiling fixture holding the bulb, and the world revolves around him.

I feel compelled to say this since it is off topic. At every turn, the dialog always come to -5, always about -5, only about -5. That's it. Ignore just does not seem to work.

Even this thread, which is a very serious topic with long term implications on politics and government in the US, what is the conversation about? -5. And this cannot be helped it seems. It will soon become a "why bother" forum if this continues and that would be a shame because there is a lot of great knowledge and passion on this forum including the AK pedigree that most of us share.

Seems to me the management has the authority and capacity to keep that from happening.

+1. Valued members such as Merrylander have been run off by all the acrimony engendered by the troll. What could be the best punishment for a narcissistic member? To be ignored. I'm no paragon of virtue when it comes to the battle but I can't help but see that these latest threads naming the troll serve little purpose other than to give the validation he craves.

Seems to me the management has the responsibility to get rid of a member who has threatened to take down the forum. Now whatcha gonna do...you gonna suggest that all that has to happen is everybody just needs to leave the poor miserable little fella alone he'll take control of himself and stop his mucking up this forum with his excrement? The first time somebody posts a challenge that in some vague way generates an emotional reaction in this emotional trainwreck...it starts all over again. That is how it works. I suppose every member is just supposed to sit around silently with their thumb in their mouth when accusations of pedophilia are tossed around like cowchips at a county fair.

That the management is not commenting...therein lies the problem.
