Bundy shows his a$$.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/24/us...west.html?_r=2

Pfffttttttt!!!!! Ha, Ha, Ha..........

Any surprise here?

Dave

BlueStreak 04-24-2014 04:25 PM

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

I wouldn't mind seeing Hannity's face when he reads this latest diatribe from his hero. Naw, he probably agrees with this despicable scum.

BlueStreak 04-24-2014 04:41 PM

It reminds me of "Blazing Saddles" for some reason.:p

No.

I'd say his views represent those of the typical bagger.

I give him Kudos for being up front about it instead of trying to deny it like a lot of them do.

d-ray657 04-24-2014 05:22 PM

There was actually a reasonable comment from a Fox blogger.

"The problem with turning ordinary people into champions of a cause is that there’s often little time for background research on the person being spotlighted. There’s a lesson here: politicians have to be careful who they saddle up to."

"Reasonable" and "fox blogger" in the same sentence?

Is that some sort of tricky lawyer talk there or could it actually be possible that a fox blogger is reasonable?!

bobabode 04-24-2014 06:17 PM

I just saw Gov. Schweitzer (a rancher himself) waving a skunk pelt advising all of Bundy's high profile supporters to get themselves fifty gallons of tomato juice and vinegar to wash that Bundy stench off. ;)

I was curious to see if Fox would cover it at all. I had to do a word search to find the one mention of it, which was in a blog tucked away in the nether reaches of the website. I'll give her credit for a clever line about politicians having to be careful about who they saddle up to. It might be that she just joined the Fox website last year and hasn't been fully indoctrinated yet.

That's ridiculous but coming from you understandable.

Note that she said nothing about marquis Fox News personalities not cosying up to lunatics.

Bundy is a prejudice SOB.

That said everyone in support of the government over-reach and reaction are in the right to stand up against it. This individual is not the reason people have championed to this cause he was just the situation. This is not an outrage for one mans problems but for the governments actions and tactics.

Oerets 04-24-2014 08:28 PM

The problem as I see it is simple really. His supporters either think the same way or just hate any authority.

Because when you get to the crux of the issue, there is no defending this person. He is a deadbeat and steals money from all of us. Plain and simple, he got undo enrichment by using the land to graze the cattle and not paying.

He needs to take responsibility and quit trying to figure out how to justify not paying! Acting like a spoiled kid trying to makeup reasons why he deserves to live rent free once out of high school.

Do you let your adult (18+) children live at home for free? Do their laundry fix up their lunches? Or teach them personal responsibility?

Barney

finnbow 04-24-2014 08:36 PM

Do Fox News, Talk Radio and 'Baggers believe that it would be OK for a timber company (or a deranged individual) to just show up in the Sequoia National Forest with a chain saw and start cutting down trees?

bobabode 04-24-2014 08:36 PM

Yup. This is all about being a lying deadbeat living off the rest of us. He needs to pay his bills, there's no tyranny or other such nonsense here.

I wonder if he has a bank account? He has to be able to do transactions. The government has no trouble pulling funds from accounts.

4-2-7 04-24-2014 08:45 PM

Then you have the home, ranch and privet property it resides on. A lean could have been made on that. Why the hell are they chasing 100s of cows around lol.

They are trying to get the cattle. His only real assets be my guess.

As I remember Mr. Bundy had a fair number of ardent supporters right here on Political Chat.

So far there has been a conspicuous lack of statements of condemnation from them.

Does that mean that we can assume that they agree with him regarding the following new statements he has made?

Quote:

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. Ya I have seen the court papers. Just thought it would be better to grab assets that don't run lol. But thinking of a sale stand point it would be easier to sell property that is moveable. Opposed to some ranch the BLM are trying to put out of business. So there it is there The ranch will have no value if the BLM get there way.

No problem. He'd just have to say something nasty about the gummint and he'd be a hero.

Particularly if he cut down the Sherman Grove.

I saw on CBS that the militia morons are paranoid about government agents infiltrating their ranks. That oughta give 'em some sleepless nights.

Pretty clear of the MSM agenda.

All ignored what was going on there not trying to show the jackboot feds. But now Bundy's remark are everywhere on all media source.

Did Reid say something or is he keeping his mouth shut?

Maybe you can be a gun toting vigilantly for the cause.

bobabode 04-24-2014 10:39 PM

I suspect most of these loonies have never seen the desert. They'll spook or dry up and blow away by mid June. The Forest Service has high altitude drones for wildfire monitoring. They should be flying day and night. ;)

Tom Joad 04-25-2014 07:20 AM

Still no words of condemnation from our resident wingers who initially supported him.

Perhaps I should go back to that first thread on Bundy and make myself a list of his supporters and then offer them the opportunity to redeem themselves.:D

I think it's isolation. When you live just outside Bunkerville and that's your whole world and the only people you ever converse with are cows and the same 20 people you've known your whole life who also rarely venture out, plus, the only picture you have of "the outside" is a 40 year old snippet of the day you drove through North Las Vegas..........

You aren't going to know jack squat about how the real world works.

The use of the phrase, "....the Negro." suggest it's been a while since Cliven has left the ranch for any appreciable duration of time. Think about it; How long has it been since any English speaking people used the word "negro" so casually? The early '60s?

Our man really does need to get out more.

And, you wonder why most of these guys think you're an idiot?

"....the MSM agenda."?

Really, Dan?

How can you read that little speech he gave and not think it reads like Bundy is stuck in 1962? He is clueless and hopelessly lost in the long dead past.

I dunno.

I like to use the term "Knee-Grows".

I got that one from Reading Malcom X's autobiography.

I already agreed with that Dave, the guy is a bigot to say the least. But lots of people are and it's not news.

My point was it was far bigger news to report what was happening out there between all parties and most the media ignored it.

But now some racist remarks are top of the news cycle of a story they ignored in the fist place.

If you do not see that as agenda driven I can't help that. Do you need for me to explain the agenda? We already have ignorant posters here to show you.

Let me see how ignorant would I be if by pure individual comments I placed all in a category.

“He (Reid) was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama – a ‘light-skinned’ African American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,’

Does this comment make all Democrats pregidous bigots?

I hear what you are saying about isolation, Dave.... But it's hard for me to understand how anybody these days does not know how offensive those words are. Surely he has a television and newspaper, he can't have missed what has happened in regards to race in our country in the past fifty years.

Just finished watching Sean Whatisname communications director of the RNC on CNN. Actually he is the chief whiner of the RNC as all he could come up with "when a democratic governor touched women inappropriately there was zero, zero coverage." I suppose the double negative meant there really was coverage because I saw it. Sorry Sean but your boys stepped in the cow shit all by themselves, no one pushed them.

Fortunately for the democrats, his jerkiness is way overshadowed by standard across the board republican jerkiness. :)

At the time interracial marriage was also illegal in some states.
