Apparently a man attempted self immolation on the Mall in D.C.:(

As I understand it, he survived. It'll be interesting to hear what that was all about.

It's a metaphor for what the 'Baggers are doing to the GOP.

We shall see.

Yeah, the thought that he might have been a veteran crossed my mind as well. I could hypothesize on that and his reason for torching himself, but I'll abstain for now. Maybe a suicide note will surface soon?

At any rate, it's a sad thing.

There was a report of someone with a tripod--making a video of the incident, perhaps. We may hear more about this.

Ummm....sort of.

If your best friend called you and said, "Meet me at the mall, I'm going to set myself on fire.". Would your reaction be; "Cool! Hold on, let me get my camera shit ready!"
