I'm Sorry

Gentlemen,

I hope you all are doing well.

I need to apologize for my controversial posts earlier this year. I miss you all and the spirited debates we had.

Over the summer I reflected on my online behavior and realized that it was over the top. In part it was behavior that I learned from moderating a gaming board; a behavior that was needed to break through the noise and grab readers' attention. But that's neither an excuse nor a proper mannerism for a topic of gravity such as politics and an audience as thoughtful as you.

Going forward I promise to keep my spirits cool and not start any fires. With regard to the AudioKarma and music sides of our personalities, I also promise to forego Adele. :D

BlueStreak 09-23-2013 10:10 AM

No need. I have missed you, Brother.

Welcome back brother!

As to Adele. Each of us has different buttons.

BlueStreak 09-23-2013 11:09 AM

Now, start posting, Ed.

I've been working on home improvement projects and messing about in astrophotography. I have not followed political news since May, with the exception of watching a few episodes of The Daily Show. The first episode during Jon Stewart's absence was hilarious. Apparently Jon told John Oliver that nothing happens over the summer anyway and then the Snowden story broke. John Oliver got a lot of mileage from that fiasco. :D

Astronomer, eh? I belonged to a club some years ago. I never got too deep into it, but I enjoyed it. There's just something peaceful (and humbling) about spending a night stargazing, hunting down interesting objects. I've felt far more spiritual doing that than I ever did at any boring church service.
