yeah im still around. I tried for years to get back in AK but that isn't happening. I created multiple sock puppet accounts but they always figured me out in the end. fuckit I moved on with my life. speaking of my life, its very different these days. hell im almost 30. anyway back then I was a bit ambitious in my posts and was too open about things in my life. diversity and being colorful at AK is frowned apon so I got stamped out. whatever.

what I really find interesting, im part of about 20 forums, this is the only damn one that wished me a happy birthday. unreal. :D thanks, btw!

yeah I moved back to my hometown. south florida was beautiful, a tropical paradise, but there is little to no opprutunity there. there were a few deciding factors that brought me back. one of which I cant deny anymore, my family is getting old and people are starting to die. im getting older. im not a kid anymore so playtime is over. I went back to school, got a degree, and now im busting my ass doing everything I can to build a life for myself.

yeah I know.. my 20s are just about over. it sucks! lol

yeah I remember you!! I wish I had 2000 lol I have about 500 receivers, but over 1000 components. my "shock and awe!" system stunt was pretty much what dun did me in. funny. what im running now is peanuts compaired to that rig! :D

oh and for those of you reading this that are still active members at AK, I do things a little different now. im still running several hundered receivers in my master system but its safe now. my system and collection is housed in the detached two car garage outside my house. It has its own dedicated 6 tap breaker box with 20 amp breakers, as well as 2 220v lines, everything is GFI 3 pronge with 6 recepticals that are modern, and all wiring is located outside, not inside of the walls for better cooling and fire prevention, I also have multiple circuit arrestors, a lightning rod that's grounded to prevent surges, as well as line stabilizing equipment. the room is also climate controlled via a 20,000 btu AC and I have 3 fire extinguishers around the room. cant be too careful.

ive grown up and so has my practice with gear. too bad I cant be in AK any more, ive got a lot of new stuff to share. but I guess ill always be frozen in time there as the 25 year old kid living in a falling down trailer in west palm beach. my life is totally different now. oh well.
